Lecture on data protection law to Hattingen associations

At the invitation of the Freiwilligenagentur im Holschentor (Volunteer Agency in the Holschentor), our partner Michael Ullrich gave a lecture on 29 May 2018 to 60 association representatives on the new Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). During the lecture, it became apparent that there is currently a great deal of uncertainty among association representatives. Therefore, the necessary measures and possibilities of implementing the new data protection regulation in non-profit associations were discussed and debated. In addition to numerous representatives of sports clubs, the audience also included people who volunteer for refugees and people with disabilities.

The lecture and the subsequent question and answer session focused on the topics of handling personal data and the use of photos on the association's own homepages.
