Fake demand letters in the name of a non-existent law firm Goldberg & Partner with alleged registered office at Eschersheimer Hauptstraße 125 in 60322 Frankfurt are sent by e-mail with the subject "Threat of dunning proceedings - RE (number)" and personalised with the following content:
"Good day [name] , we hereby threaten you with the initiation of legal dunning proceedings in the name of and on behalf of our client. Contrary to several payment reminders, the invoice amount legally issued by our client has not yet been paid. All details regarding your payment obligation can be found in the invoice issued by our client, which is attached to this email. This is our last attempt to get you to pay and save ourselves a lot of expense!

The partially attached file with the format .zip contains a Trojan.

We expressly point out that the e-mail with the aforementioned content does not originate from our law firm Goldberg Rechtsanwälte and was also not sent via our systems. The mass-mailed e-mail is a forgery. Both the law firm mentioned in the e-mail and the alleged address do not exist.
Our firm has filed a criminal complaint against the perpetrator(s).
