Your legal clerkship at GoldbergUllrich Attorneys at Law
With us, you’ll receive hands-on training at a specialized commercial law firm. You’ll gain insight into the day-to-day work of a lawyer on cases involving commercial law and—depending on your level of training—will be actively involved in client work.
Her responsibilities include, in particular:
- Work on real-world cases involving IT law, data protection law, intellectual property law, media law, competition law, and trademark law,
- legal research on practical issues in business law,
- Assisting in the preparation of briefs, contracts, expert opinions, and letters to clients,
- Support in handling cases both in and out of court,
- Insights into contract drafting, IT projects, data protection consulting, trademark and antitrust disputes,
- Participation in client meetings and court appearances,
- direct professional consultation with specialized attorneys,
- specific feedback on your work results.

Who We're Looking For

You'll be a good fit for us if you:
- have successfully completed the First State Examination,
- ideally, have earned at least a “satisfactory” on the First State Examination,
- are interested in IT law, data protection law, intellectual property law, media law, competition law, or trademark law,
- work carefully, in an organized manner, and reliably,
- enjoy precise legal reasoning,
- have strong written communication skills,
- want to work independently and take on responsibility.
Prior knowledge of IT law, data protection law, or intellectual property law is welcome but not required. What matters most is your interest in the field, your willingness to learn, and your commitment to meticulous legal work.
